This is the highest grade of loose Pu'erh from the Menghai area of Yunnan, China.  This batch is composed primarily of tippy gold buds, making for a balanced flavor profile consisting of delicate dried fruits, chocolate malts, and moderate umami thickness.  The rich yet soft flavors make this a decadent, complex tea that is easy to enjoy.  Satisfying, grounding, and sweet in equal proportion to acid and bitterness as contrast add balance to the silky, dark brew.

This balanced tea is great for daily drinking with all the ease of digesting and other potential long-term health benefits of fermented tea*.  For more information on the possible health benefits of Pu'erh - see our Tea Research page on our website.
