Jin Xuan varietal tea is grown at an altitude of 1500 meters/ nearly 1 mile. This delicate yet robustly aromatic tea is expertly hand-picked and processed in the traditional methods of Taiwanese tea. The leaf is lightly roasted before being rolled, in order to bring out it's 'milky sweet' fragrance (nai xiang). This is a very aromatic tea with a subtle but lasting and enjoyable taste.
Premium Jin Xuan 'Milk Oolong' - 2 oz.
A tablespoon worth of the rolled tea brewed in a large brewing container with water around 190-200 F and steeped for 1 minute, will brew a lovely first steep. This tea should be able to be re-steeped at least 2-4 more times.
