The brewed tea is sweet and malty with hints of sugarcane and the aroma of stone-fruits. This is an absolutely enjoyable tea with complexity, exotic fragrance, and a thick tea liquor that fills and soothes the mouth. The tea is picked just a short few days after sprouting and then quickly and carefully processed to preserve it's delicate nature. The tea buds are very small and covered with hairs.


This is a 'pure bud' tea from early spring of 2015, aged carefully to achieve a milder, sweeter, and less intense version of itself.

  • Brew 2 teaspoons with 200-215 F temperature water for 1 minute, for the first steeping.
