This loose, ripe, purple bud leaf pu'erh harvested in Spring 2011, wet piled in late 2011 and then stored in Jinggu (Simao, Yunnan) until October 2019.
The combination of the unique leaf (purple bud tea is only 1-2% of teas grown in Yunnan), the wet-piling fermentation methods, and the prolonged aging, make this a profound tea. It is deceptively subtle and mellow. The soft, sweet, and gentle aromas give an easy-to-drink tea that can be steeped many times, giving way to new layers of the tea's qualities.
