Wild Purple Tea from Dehong, Yunnan is a wild assam varietal.We haven't had this exact varietal in stock for a number of years and it's one of our absolute favorites. It has a deeply satisfying, smooth, soft bitterness with a sweet, grape candy and dried fruit aftertaste making it an irresistible dark tea. After sipping this tea, you can taste sweetness and fruit lingering on your pallette. It's a mouthwatering combination that leaves you wanting to keep drinking.
 
These leaves hold a high caffeine level, making it an excellent morning brew. If you tend you enjoy black teas, this is similar but on a whole other level!
